Hospitality is a topic for me lately and the next time properly engaged. I speak, preach and read about it and watch what I learn in my own life can apply. I am constantly looking for material that tells me more about hospitality. Tim Chester has written some fascinating articles about eating together. He gave them titles like: Eating together as enacted grace Eating when is thanksgiving 2012 together as enacted community Eating together as enacted mission Eating when is thanksgiving 2012 together as enacted future. Tim challenges churches and followers of Jesus to embody the gospel play, to give our lives, shape, and especially not to institutionalize. The first article begins: The Son of Man came ... to give 1.om ransom his life; Mk seek what was lost 2.om 10:24; Lk 19:10 3.etend and drinking; Lk 7:34 The first two statements Jesus gives his target. Only the last statement says something about his approach. when is thanksgiving 2012 Jesus eat and drink. Jesus also came while he performed miracles, but he himself used these words - food and drink. And indeed, the meals are not from the air and also in the parables meals play a major role. Apparently there is more going on with the meal. Meals embody something of the Kingdom. This latter proposition has already been previously led me to me to raise the issue. Themes of hospitality and eating together this season I did not know the existence of these products, but they have to be hugely stimulating. when is thanksgiving 2012 More challenging: How is it that our churches are not known as a community of people who eat and drink?
