Institute of Middle and Far East of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, the Middle East Scientific, Pause and Cinema Foundation "Nahda" for the ninth time organized "Days of Emirates" in Cracow. This year's edition will be held April 22-27. Six days of events include conference, meetings, lectures, exhibitions and workshops.
During the annual conferences invite you to participate eminent specialists free ecards in the subject close to the East. This year, guiding title will be: "Borders: crossed or moved? The Arab world in the postcolonial perspective. "Days of Emirates" are directed not only to students but to all the inhabitants of Cracow, who are interested in the subject of Arabic, willingly and courageously traveling to the Middle East, or want to experience the wonderful diversity of the region. As students, but most of all enthusiasts and travelers, we are trying to combat the myths and stereotypes. We know from experience that the best way to learn about other cultures is widely understood education and cultural initiatives carried free ecards out in a friendly atmosphere. To this end, we organize numerous meetings, lectures, workshops, exhibitions and concerts, which combine history and tradition of the Arab countries. Measures to promote intercultural dialogue is a priority for us. We believe that promoting Arab culture in Poland will contribute to a better understanding of the nearby region of the world.
