We realize St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Sunday this year. So we’re st patricks day pre-celebrating it the day before in honour of the workforce! Drinks will be green & orange (where possible!), there will be leprechaun hats everywhere, and we’ll pimp it all up with shamrocks and Irish flags for that “authentic” feel
Rockfreaks.net DJ:s, “the legendary” AP & PP, will be blasting punk rock all night downstairs, while TL will be spinning more chilled out folk/indie/punk/rock in the upstairs lounge, accompanied by a couple of Irish folk/singer-songwriters (TBC).
Our good friends in KILL THE ROOSTER will provide some of the evening’s live entertainment on the stage downstairs. Their style is best described as heartfelt – often melancholic – and energetic punk rock with distinct folk influences, particularly in the melody department. We’ve seen these boys enough times by now to guarantee they’ll give it 110% in concert, and with a debut album just around the corner, there’s sure to be plenty of new tunes on the setlist! Find them on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/killtherooster
STREAM CITY will also be joining the festivities! Their folk-y, violin-fueled brand of progressive punk rock has been wooing audiences across Denmark since 2007. We guarantee you won’t find musical concoctions like theirs anywhere else, and their high-explosive live performance is sure to knock you off your feet! STÖJ st patricks day SNAK is the most recent addition into the frey. A self-fashioned “screamer-songwriter”, we’re pretty sure you won’t find anything quite like this in the singer-songwriter st patricks day genre. It’s folksy, it’s loud and it’s awesome as fuck! This will be his first gig in Copenhagen – ever – and he will be accompanied by a blues harpist. Find him on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/StojSnak
