On 17 March celebrates Copenhagen on 10 years the Irish national day of Copenhagen St. Patrick's Day Parade. It is an international celebration held by millions of people worldwide and as the motto says, are all "Irish" on this day. Copenhagen St. Patrick's Day Parade is a festive afternoon for the whole family with music, dance and vegetables procession through the streets of Copenhagen. Admission is free. We warm up at City Hall Square, in the heart of Copenhagen, where the popular actor Tom McEwan in the role of St. Patrick presents entertainment with Irish music, song and dance. The dance happy students from Dark Green School of Irish Dancing and the professional dancers from Green Steps performs with "Riverdance" - or the dance correctly states: Irish step dancing. Trad Lads, one of Denmark's most popular Irish bands give it gas with lively Irish "folk songs" the nightmare before christmas and ballads in true Dubliner style.
